The Peregrine ship is an experimental design by Family Samsan. It features next generation engines able to propel the ship to a game changing speed of 0.9 LYs per minute. The speed comes at a price as the engines are prone to catastrophic failure during use, having a 1% chance of becoming destroying and needing repair. The hull of the ship is also rather weak with most of design geared to provide structural integrity flying at such speeds - which also affects available power. But, if all you care about is speed the Peregrine is unmatched for raw capacity.

[DEFENCE] Peregrine Pass: Modifies the following statistics for a total of 1 turn for [ENEMY TEAM]: Incoming Damage: +47%. Outgoing Damage: +47%.

[SPECIAL] Runhot: Increase speed by 0.1 at the expense of damaging the engines by 1%.
