Banners

Banner backgrounds can be selected from the appearance section of the "me" window. Your player banner contains your name, faction name, chosen title (also selectable from the same window), overall skill level and current ship. You can customise the background of your banner from a large selection with some being patron exclusive. The banner backgrounds you can select from are shown below, along with the textual description of the image.

80s Geometric (patron only)
Triangles, circles and lines coloured with 80s style gradients in front of a blue grid.

Asteroid Field
A dense asteroid field with a large asteroid in the centre of the frame with the background filled with other rocks.

Bird Watcher
A figure stands on top of a hill watching birds fly in front of trees in the foreground and against a massive low (but dim) sun in the background.

Bliss
A blissful landscape showing the view from a lush forest towards small dwellings with one close on top of a hill, tall moutains and rolloing clouds. The image overall is calm and beautiful mainly blue and green.

Candy
Cartoon candy of different shapes and bright colours falling. Background is a purple pink colour fading to blue. The overall image is playful and colourful.

Casino
An abstract scene of a high-end casino with patrons sitting at tables and at the bar.

Chronites (patron only)
A swarm of chronites devouring an Explorer ship. Mainly blue.

Cityscape
A futuristic city skyline with thousands of flying vehicles sparkling sunlight in the background.

Cloaked Destroyer
A side profile of a cloaked Destroyer, red pulses attempt to reveal it.

Core Exiles
Celebrating the game Core Exiles, the banner features Earth amongst pinpoint stars and the Core Exiles logo in orange.

Curved Lines
Curved lines of pink, purple, red and blue on a dark blue background.

Defeated Nature
A lone tree growing from rocks catching yellow sunlight sit in the foreground, backed by towering and complex industrial structures bathed in blue light.

Demarchists
To celebrate Demarchists winning best faction. The banner shows a zombie dressed in riches in front of a skeleton.

Desert Planet
A cloaked figure standing in the desert in front of a sprawling settlement. The banner is mostly burnt oranges and browns.

Evil Astronaut (patron only)
An astronaut with sinister glowing blue eyes standing in front of a lunar buggy both coloured red with debris flying behind them.

Farmland
An abstract farming scene showing a colourful field with wooden houses in the background and large machinery dwarfing the skies.

Frozen River
A river of ice frozen between the shore and mountains with trees in silhouette either side of the banner.

Giant Egg (patron only)
A pair of Astronauts stand in front of an egg several times their size, that is being held in place with black goo and is glowing a soft red.

Hanging On (patron only)
A figure hanging on to a rope, being pulled, all in front of a strong purple starry background.

Herb Garden
The view from inside a greenhouse showing various herbs and plants. The image is almost entirely green with a few splashes of purple and orange on some plants. Overall the image feels warm and homely.

Hideout
A depiction of the inside of a hideout featuring an empty chair in front of a placed down helmet. Multiple screens and abstract and artistic technology and window views fill the banner.

Homestead
A beautful scene of a house sitting in a landscape lush with green trees, boulders, plants, flowers and blue skies. Rolling clouds can be seen with a spaceship flying high leaving a streak of white smoke. Overall the image is homely, friendly and dreamlike.

Ice Dragon
A blue ice dragon flying between icy mountains with a white icy landscape in the background filled with tall mountains and sharp terrain. The image is mainly blue, white and grey with the dragon in the center.

James Webb: Carina Nebula
The Carina Nebula as captured by the Old Earth James Webb Space Telescope. Mainly orange nebula, blue starry background and flared bright stars throughout.

Lost Child
In a dark and misty scene a child holds up a torch seemingly in a forest. The scene is mostly greens and blacks with the torch a bright white with trailing yellow flame.

Mechanical Fleet
The separated view of the Mechanic Fleet, blues and greens with an inner red light amongst the broken ring like ships.

Monsters (patron only)
Colourful cartoon monsters with whacky faces in pink, green, red and blue. Monsters are showing teeth in this fun and cartoonish scene of facial expressions.

No Witnesses
A figure dressed in combat riding gear standing next to a hover bike viewing an explosion. The explosion is a mix of reds and the bike has red details with the rest of the banner brown and greys.

NVDA
Celebrating the most used screenreader in the unvierse, NVDA. The banner features a black background with faded NVDA logo and part of the full colour logo peaking from the right side in brand colours of purple, orange and cyan.

Octo (patron only)
A cartoon of an orange octopus taking up most of the banner, small tropical fish swim around with a blue fading to dark blue background.

Paint
Abstract paint brushed across the banner in purple, blue and pink with a blue-purple background visible fading to orange. Messy with lots of paint splatter and drips. The image overall is abstract and chaotic.

Purple Water
A top down view of purple water, featuring ebbs of turbulence.

Rainy City
A scene of a sci-fi street in heavy rain, neon signs pierce through the dark in this night time scene. The image is mainly blue with bright colours for neon signs, a few cars are dotted about. Overall the image is cold but interesting.

Simulated Reality (patron only)
A simulated landscape of the Rosewood hovering above Amici where everything is white with only shadows.

Space Magic
A figure in the foreground with long hair seemingly creating rings of energy with their hands. The background shows a large monster with orange glowing eyes and a partially shrouded body that seems to feature sharp armour. The whole banner is oranges and golds with some brown.

Space Storm
An abstract rendition of a storm is space erupting from purple and blue clouds to bright orange. Space is visible on the right side of the banner as black with pinlight stars of white and red.

Sublight Systems
A futuristic cityscape bathed in purple light to commemorate Sublight Systems winning best faction and upcoming faction in 2023.

Sun God (patron only)
