We were miners, once, stuck upon a desert planet and living out our days with no knowledge of the horizons beyond us. It was by serendipity that our gaze was cast to the skies when we sought to expand the Imperium and thus did the first miners take flight, soaring to greater opportunities. Yet, we have not forgotten our roots. The Imperium continuously seeks to build a solid network of systems capable of sustaining a livelihood of ambitious spacers. The path to greatness is paved by a bedrock of commerce. Currency is a universal language, diplomacy a necessity to maintain the trust inherent to our reputation.
