What happens when I switch faction?

The following actions happen when you switch faction from a faction:

Your faction will change.

You will be set as the role of Ensign.

Any hideout structures or Palace structure you own will move to the new faction.

Any ships commanded by your own crew will change faction.

Karma will partially move over to the new faction.

If you are the faction Founder of the faction you left, a new faction Founder will be selected based on rank and skill level.
