How do I join or create a squad?

To join a squad open the tactical window by clicking your ship name in the primary navigation bar, then click squads section. Here it will list all squads you can join and to join a squad click the squad name, then press the join squad button in the new window that appears.

To create a squad follow the same process but where the squads are listed press the "create squad" button above the list.

When creating a squad you can choose if it is public (anyone can join) or faction and ally only (only faction members and allies can join), give the squad a name and a description. This information is then shown when others browse the list of squads to join.

While in a squad, if anyone in the squad is attacked then all squad members will join the combat session. Additionally, squad members can see the location of each other for easy travel.
