How do you fit gear?

To fit gear for personal combat, such as hunting wildlife, first open the me window by clicking on your characters portrait, then click the gear link to open the gear section.

Before fitting gear you should decide on a combat suit to wear (if you have any choices) as different suits offer a different number of slots to equip gear.

You can choose to equip both personal weapons and consumables which are then shown in the inventory section. Different weapons will consume a different number of slots which will be stated, so you should optimise your inventory as you see fit using as many slots as possible, as there are no advantages or disadvantage for having free slots.
