What are Mechs?

Mechs can be exclusively used by those in the Pioneers guild. Mechs, when fitted, increase the slots available to fit weapons and consumables as well as shields and hull in personal combat. They also decrease charting time and increasing gathering yields.

Blueprints for new mechs can be found in Pioneer capsules where they will then instantly become available to fit. There is no downside to having a mech constantly fitted.
