How do I buy a new ship

A new ship can be purchased in any system with the ship trading service. Different factions offers a different selection of ships to buy.

You can find systems with the ship trading service by opening the helm window, visiting search and then scrolling to the services section. From here you can select the ship trading service from the dropdown menu to view any systems nearby that offer said service.
