What happens when I start a transfer ownership request?

As a faction founder, if you request to transfer ownership to another faction you are requesting for that faction to absorb your faction almost entirely. You can view the request from the requests section of the command window and withdraw it if you wish.

If the target faction accepts your request faction members, systems, structures, ships, research points, recipes, books, food and drink will be transferred over. Research, research and technology lines will not be transferred and lost. Your original faction will be entirely dissolved and all faction members will become the rank of ensign in the new faction.

This is a serious action and cannot be undone.
