What happens when I start a transfer ownership request?

As a faction founder, if you request to transfer ownership to another faction you are requesting for that faction to absorb your faction entirely. You can view the request from the requests section of the command window and withdraw it if you wish.

If the target faction accepts your request all assets including faction members, systems, ships, technology, research, recipes, books, food, drink and any other faction assists will be transferred over. Your original faction will be entirely dissolved and all faction members will become the rank of ensign in the new faction.

This is a serious action and cannot be undone.
