What does threat level mean?

A players threat level is how dangerous they are and what threat they pose to you. It can be used to gauge how to deal with the player or for considering combat against them.

The threat level is determined by measuring the players NPC skills, player kills, skill level and combat challenges won - together with the number of systems their faction owns, their faction size, research effort, technology effort and total faction manpower.

The levels are as follows from least threat to maximum: Inert, Harmless, Prey, Stray, Feral, Malignant, Predator, Executioner, Reaper, Ravager, Harbinger.
