How to complete a Lost Trinket mission?

A Lost Trinket mission is where precious cargo has been accidentally lost and is now drifting in space. To complete such a mission you must check the local area around where the mission was issued.

To do this, use the travel to position option within the helm window to travel one increment at a time (0.1 LYs).

When you arrive at a position where the lost trinket is located the mission will automatically complete and you can collect the reward, your log will notify you of this.

Generally the trinket will be within a one lightyear radius of where the mission was issued so being systematic is key. If the mission is very high level (the maximum mission level is 100) the thinker may have drifted further than one lightyear.
