What is port fatigue?

Port fatigue occurs through natural use of ports these being equipment and weapons. Port fatigue can be tracked from the tactical window if the ports are fitted or in the cargo window for ports in your hold. Port fatigue is tracked as a percentage, at zero percent the port has no fatigue and is in perfect condition. At 100% fatigue the port will break and be destroyed.

You can repair ports by paying a credit cost at any system with the ship repair service.

Some ports fatigue faster under certain circumstances. When Afterburners are used to exceed the base speed of a ship by a large amount Afterburners fatigue faster. When mining beams are used on a ship that is not of a mining role they will also fatigue faster.
