Mammoth

The Mammoth is the latest design of mining ship from the Civilian Guild with a focus on frontier mining. To this end it features an exceptionally good cargo hold size of 12,000 Mgs allowing it to work in tandem with logistics craft, its long distance jump range of 40 LYs also means it can return to safety in an instant and its ability to enter a planets atmosphere and land gives it even greater protection. Helping resist against attacks the Mammoth features at 1,200 GPa hull rating and 800 ZW shield rating giving it survivability akin to a Destroyer. With a focus on mining and survivability that Mammoth does have a low sublight speed and lower fuel capacity compared to the Hauler.
