Best described as just one big, powerful engine, the Skipper sacrifices durability and defensibility as well as hold space to maximise its light drive capability. It also has the integrated ability to push the engines past their safety regulations allowing the maximum range of the ship to be doubled, allowing it to reach a sector as far as 1,000 light years away in an instant.
