A distinctive mining ship created by the Mining Guild, for highly skilled miners. The Borehead is a literal mining drill with some engines attached. It is used to mine asteroid fields via direct contact mining, resulting in new impact mining sites being created, as the Borehead breaks apart larger bodies. Due to its mining approach the Borehead has a heavy duty frame giving in a hull strength of 1,000 GPa and a very quick sublight speed of 0.3 lightyears per minute. While these statistics are impressive it comes at the cost of a small hold size, low fuel capacity and slow faster-than-light recharge rate of 30 minutes. A possible saving grace however is the the ship can be docked and can also land.
